Stay Informed About SMS Alert Charges Effective March 1

At Page Financials, we are committed to providing seamless banking experiences, ensuring you stay updated on every transaction in real time. To continue delivering this service efficiently, we will introduce a 5 charge per SMS alert, effective March 1, 2024.

This adjustment comes in response to the upward review of SMS charges by mobile network operators, as approved by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).

What is Changing?

Starting March 1, 2024, SMS alerts for transactions will attract a 5 charge per message. This fee will be automatically deducted from your account whenever an SMS notification is sent.

Why Are We Implementing This Charge?

The recent review of SMS charges by mobile operators has led to an increase in the cost of delivering transaction alerts. To continue providing real-time notifications, this small fee will enable us to:

  • Ensure uninterrupted SMS alerts for all transactions
  • Maintain secure and instant banking notifications
  • Align with the new industry-wide SMS pricing adjustment

Are There Alternative Notification Options?

If you prefer not to receive SMS alerts, you can opt for email alerts, you will get real-time transaction notifications via email at no extra cost.

For assistance in switching to these alternative notification methods, please contact our support team.
